    • What types of cookies do you sell?
      Through the online store we are currently offering three varieties of cookie: Maple Shortbread, Hermits, and Gingersnaps. In addition to those, at the bakery we make Classic Shortbread, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, and Peanut Butter cookies. In the future we may offer these other varieties as a special limited batch run. 
    • Are the cookies homemade?
      Yes! Every batch is mixed the old fashioned way using real ingredients like Cabot butter, wheat flour, sugar, and spices. The process is very similar to what you’d do at home, just at a larger scale and with bigger equipment. 
    • Where are the cookies made?
      Covered Bridge Cookies have been proudly made in Windsor, VT since 1997! 
    • I saw that you are a worker cooperative. What does that mean?
      A worker cooperative is a type of business model where the employees are also the owners and decision-makers of the company. This model emphasizes democratic governance, shared ownership, and profit distribution based on participation and contribution. Covered Bridge Cookies transitioned from a Sole-Proprietorship to a Worker Cooperative in 2022. 
  • Do you sell in smaller quantities than a case of twelve?
    Not at this time. We’re a small business, so integrating the online store requires a lot of hands-on work! In order to make online fulfillment worthwhile, we’ve chosen to sell our cookies by the case as we would to one of our distributors. 
  • Am I getting a better price on your cookies buying directly from the bakery?
    Actually, you may be able to find our cookies cheaper out in the world! We have no control over what retail stores charge for our products once our distributors sell to them. We decided to price our cookies for the store at a level where we felt like we wouldn’t be undercutting brick-and-mortar stores in our community. 
    When will the cookies I want come back in stock?
    We restock once a week and have a standing inventory of 10 cases of each per week. We do this to ensure that we are always offering the freshest product possible for you to enjoy!

  • Ordering

  • How do I place an order?
    Simply select the variety of cookie you’d like to order, add to your cart, then follow the instructions to complete payment. 
  • Do you offer gift packaging?
    Not at this time. 
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit card providers, as well as ShopPay! 
  • Can I change or cancel my order?
    At this time all sales are final once the purchase is shipped. Please reach out if you wish to cancel before receiving shipping confirmation. 
  • How do I know if my order was successful?
    After your purchase you will receive a confirmation email to your inbox. 
  • Do you have discounts or promotions?
    We plan on offering discounts and promotions throughout the year. Follow us on our social media pages to find out when these deals drop! 
  • Do you offer bulk orders?
    Not at this time but we are actively working on a bulk shipping program for retail spaces. If you are a retailer looking to carry our cookies, please contact us and we will put you in touch with one of our distributors! 
  • Shipping and Delivery

  • Who is your shipping provider?
    We use UPS to ship our orders! 
  • How much is shipping?
    That will depend on which priority you select and your distance from the bakery. All shipping rates are calculated by UPS. Order two or more cases and get complimentary free standard shipping!
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Not at this time.
  • When will my order arrive?
    That will depend on the priority delivery you select through UPS, and what day your order is shipped. We ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. So if you order on a Saturday and select three day delivery, you can expect your item to arrive by the coming Friday. 
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes. Your tracking number should be attached to the digital receipt you receive after placing an order.
  • What if my order is damaged or lost?
    Please use our contact page to get in touch with us and we will attempt to make things right. 
  • Can I change the delivery address?
    Once the product is shipped, it is out of our hands. Contact UPS through your tracking number and you may be able to change the address with them directly. 
  • Product Information

  • Are your cookies nut-free?
    With the exception of the Peanut Butter cookies, yes; however, all of our cookies are produced in a facility that uses nuts. 
  • Do you have gluten-free cookies?
    Not at this time, but we are developing an allergen-free cookie. Stay tuned! 
  • What allergens are in your cookies?
    Allergen information will be on the back of the box. All of our products contain WHEAT and DAIRY. The Gingersnaps and Hermits also contain EGGS. 
  • How should I store my cookies?
    We recommend eating our cookies as soon as possible while they are the freshest, but they can be stored in the freezer or the refrigerator as well!

  • What is your return policy?
    We do not accept returns, however refunds are issued on a case-to-case basis. Please contact us ASAP if there is a concern about your order.
